The pilgrimage of Our Lady of Fatima traditionally takes place in Luxembourg every Ascension Thursday. However, for this year's pilgrimage, there are some new rules to follow as announced by the scouts of Wiltz.

Wild camping and barbecues in nature will be prohibited, especially along roadsides. While participants in the pilgrimage have camped along the roads from Fond de Heiderscheid to Wiltz or near Lake Haute-Sûre for years, this is no longer allowed.

As a solution, the Wiltz scouts are offering alternative camping spots at the Toutschenmühle scout campsite in Weidingen for €6.30 per person per night.

Additionally, on Thursday May 9, traffic restrictions are expected, especially from 9am to 8pm in the lower town, where several streets will be closed.
