Luxair will celebrate the upcoming Grand Ducal accession on 3 October with special onboard offerings, commemorative gifts, and a collector’s edition inflight magazine.

Luxair is rolling out a series of initiatives to mark the upcoming change on the Grand Ducal throne, the company announced on Monday. Ahead of the accession on 3 October, passengers will thus see commemorative stickers across the fleet, along with a special collector's edition of the inflight magazine dedicated entirely to the occasion.

Onboard offerings will also feature celebratory drinks, including beer from Brasserie Simon and Crémants from Poll-Fabaire and Alice Hartmann. In the Luxair Lounge, an exclusive edition from Bernard-Massard will be served.

On the day of the accession, travellers will receive a commemorative gift, with sweet treats from Ferrero and Maison Oberweis also being distributed on board.

In a press release, Luxair emphasised its longstanding ties with the Grand Ducal Family and its role as Luxembourg's flagship airline since 1961, labelling it an honour to help mark the royal transition.
