On Saturday night, the Grand-Ducal police confirmed their involvement in four interventions following altercations.
The initial intervention occurred around 8 pm in Kirchberg, where a physical altercation took place between two individuals. Upon the police's arrival, attempts were made to de-escalate the situation. However, one of the individuals responded by striking one of the officers in the face. Fortunately, the officer did not sustain any injuries.
Another intervention took place around midnight in Clervaux, where a brawl erupted during a birthday party. By the time the police arrived, those responsible had already fled the scene. Unfortunately, one person was injured and had to be transported to the hospital.
In Wincrange, police were mobilised following an altercation at a ball around 3 am. Although several people were involved, the authorities reported no arrests or injuries.
Later, in Kehlen, police had to intervene during an "event" where a fight broke out. Fortunately, officers successfully defused the situation, as indicated in a police report on Sunday.
