Emergency services responded to three road accidents between Saturday evening and early Sunday morning.
The most serious incident occurred at around 8.40pm on the CR110. A driver travelling between Bascharage and Clemency suddenly lost control of the vehicle, which collided head-on with a tree at the roadside. All four occupants were injured.
Fire crews from the Käerjeng-Pétange rescue centre attended the scene, alongside the Luxembourg City medical emergency unit (SAMU), and three ambulances from Esch, Steinfort, and Sanem-Differdange.
Shortly before, at around 8.30pm, a car overturned on Route de Luxembourg in Pétange. The Esch SAMU was called to the scene, where firefighters from Pétange and an ambulance from Sanem-Differdange also intervened.
Just after midnight, a motorcyclist was seriously injured following a heavy fall on Rue de Belvaux in Esch-sur-Alzette. Emergency services from Esch transported the victim to hospital.
