Four-time NBA champion and recent Hall of Fame inductee Tony Parker drew thousands of fans to Luxembourg's Auchan shopping centre on Saturday, showcasing his enduring popularity and transition into entrepreneurial ventures since retiring from basketball.

The Auchan shopping centre in Kirchberg was packed to the rafters. Arriving in Luxembourg on Saturday, former basketball great Tony Parker was indeed the star of the afternoon – even if he was a few minutes late. Thousands of fans turned out to get an autograph from the former France and San Antonio Spurs point guard.

A four-time NBA champion with San Antonio and European champion with France in 2013, Tony Parker received his last major award last spring when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Since his retirement from sport in 2019, Parker has been busy with an array of entrepreneurial activities. These include, among others, the presidency of Asvel, the Villeurbanne club that has been competing in the Euroleague since 2019 and has won the last three French championships. He will also soon be a juror on M6's 'Qui veut être mon associé?', a French television programmed focused on business ventures.
