The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps were dispatched to several incidents on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

Shortly before 9pm on Wednesday, two cars collided on the A13 towards Schengen, between the Frisange tunnel and Altwies. One person sustained injuries as a result. Fire fighters from Urspelt and Bettembourg were sent to the scene, as well as the Bettembourg ambulance.

On Thursday morning, two cars were involved in a crash on Boulevard Aloyse Meyer, Esch-sur-Alzette, at 7.40am. One person was hurt and required medical treatment from local paramedics.

At 8.30am, a kitchen caught fire on Rue de la Chiers in Sanem, injuring one. Emergency teams from Bascherage, Sanem-Differdange, Esch-sur-Alzette, Pétange, and Dudelange were dispatched to the scene.
