The Grand Ducal police reported drugs and drink driving offences overnight.
A police patrol noticed two women acting in a suspicious manner on Rue du Fort Elisabeth on Wednesday night and suspected the two of drug possession.
The two women were duly searched and had a small amount of drugs confiscated. They were later brought to the police station, where a more intensive search revealed further substances. Both were arrested and brought before a judge on Thursday.
In Ettelbruck, a motorist was caught driving under the influence on Avenue des Alliés. He initially drew attention from a passing police patrol as the car's windows were broken. Further investigation revealed the man was driving without a valid licence. He was issued with a caution and a driving ban.
