On Easter Sunday, an accident between Mersch and Angelsberg left one person severely injured. One of the vehicles involved in the accident was a first responder (SAMU) car.
The vehicle in question was following an ambulance that was rushing an injured child to the Children’s Clinic. The driver of the emergency vehicle lost control of the vehicle while making a left turn. According to the Wort, the SAMU driver passed his driving test only about a month ago.
Officials have so far only indicated that an investigation is underway to determine how the accident occurred.
