The Chamber of Trades fears that business in the construction sector is collapsing and that numerous companies are therefore at risk of facing bankruptcy.

According to the Chamber, 80% of all construction companies still have work for the next six months, but after that no more projects are planned. People in the sector estimate that 2,300 accommodations will be built this year, 1,500 fewer than projected.

The Chamber is now urging the government to introduce timely and targeted measures ahead of summer to limit the risk of a bankruptcies.
