More and more details are coming to light in the murder case in Bonnevoie, as the victim is now said to have lived with the perpetrator in a shared flat.

On Thursday 22 December, police found the body of a 32-year-old woman in a flat in Bonnevoie. The suspected perpetrator is the 45-year-old flat owner and roommate of the young woman.

The police first became aware of the crime through an emergency call. The 27-year-old boyfriend of the victim, who reportedly also lives in the shared flat, alerted the emergency services, after being attacked with a knife by the owner of the flat.

The boyfriend was able to escape to safety and was later treated at the hospital for his injuries.

The flat owner and alleged perpetrator is accused of murder, manslaughter and attempted manslaughter and currently remains in custody in Sanem.

It was further reported that there were no family connections between the victim and the suspect.
