The new Covid law, which the Chamber of Deputies unanimously passed last week, was published this morning and is thereby in effect as of today.
As of Thursday, the isolation period has been reduced from seven to four days.
The Health Directorate put out a reminder on social media that the isolation period can even be abandoned after 24 hours if a person gets negative results in two rapid tests.
With the new law coming into effect on Thursday, the contact tracing mechanism is also being stopped.
