The Christmas period in Luxembourg is forecast to be cold and dry, with crisp conditions expected for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

For Christmas Eve on Wednesday, Kachelmann Weather predicts a mix of sun and thicker cloud cover, though conditions should remain dry. It will be breezy, with wind gusts of 50 to 60 kilometres per hour. Temperatures will vary across regions: in the hillier north, they are expected to stay below freezing, around –2°C, while in the Moselle valley, they may reach around 3°C, with wind making it feel colder.

Christmas Day itself will remain cold and dry, accompanied by a persistentlz cold wind. Daytime highs are forecast between –1°C and 3°C, with overnight lows potentially dropping to –4°C, according to the national weather service MeteoLux.

Boxing Day to Friday is expected to be very similar, though slightly milder, with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 4°C.

The weekend looks set to continue the sunny and dry trend. Sunday in particular will see slightly higher daytime temperatures of 3°C to 5°C, before dropping again to between –3°C and –1°C overnight.
