Rail replacement buses were put into service to transport passengers between Ettelbruck and Mersch.
Train services still ran as normal between Mersch and Luxembourg City, as the infrastructure issues only affected the Ettelbruck part of the line.
As of 9.15am, the issues appeared to have been resolved, according to CFL.
