Six new petitions are open for signatures on the website of the Chamber of Deputies. They will have to gather at least 4,500 signatures by 28 July in order to be publicly debated in the Chamber of Deputies.

The petitioners' demands cover a wide range of measures, starting with sanctions against Russia, more aid for people in need of care, an end to constant changes in oil prices, and the introduction of a 35-hour working week.

In addition, two petitions focus on better protection of young game before the harvest season. Another petitioner calls for tougher penalties for motorists who do not respect the 30 km/h zones in towns and villages. On a completely different note, a petition proposes the abolition of political parties in Luxembourg.

These proposals must first collect at least 4,500 signatures within a defined period of time before they can be publicly debated in the Chamber of Deputies.

All petitions open for signature are available on petitions.lu.
