Police caught a drink-driver speeding at 113 km/h in a 50 km/h zone in Luxembourg City on Thursday night.

There were many other incidents across the country too, including the deadly accident on the A7 which saw a 27-year-old woman lose her life.

Another drink-driver caused an accident in Schifflange at around 9.30pm on Thursday evening.

At around 0.40am on Friday, a motorist on the A7 motorway caught the attention of the police because of her erratic driving style. She was pulled over by a police patrol and was revealed to be inebriated.

Another police patrol was bewildered to see a car with only three tyres on the N12 near Wiltz at around 1.30am. The driver was intoxicated.

A person was injured between Lentzweiler and Antoniushof at around 2am on early Friday morning after crashing their car into a tree. After discovering that the driver was inebriated, the police withdrew his driving licence on the spot. After receiving first aid, the driver was admitted to hospital.
