The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has adapted the list of non-EU citizens who will be allowed to travel to Luxembourg again for non-essential travel.

From 21 December 2021, non-EU citizens with a certificate proving a complete vaccination schedule issued by Brazil, Canada, South Korea, India or Japan will be authorised to enter Luxembourg for non-essential travel.

The three vaccines that Luxembourg accepts in addition to BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Janssen are the following:

In Luxembourg, the four vaccines that have obtained marketing authorisation at European level are accepted:

- Covishield (Serum Institute of India Pvt. Ltd (SII))
- R-Covi (R-Pharm)
- Covid-19 vaccine (recombinant) (FIOCRUZ)

Luxembourg recognises the certificate proving a complete vaccination schedule issues by the following non-EU countries, granted they are a recognised vaccine (see vaccines listed above):

- Albania
- Andorra
- Armenia
- Brazil
- Canada
- South Korea
- United States of America
- Faroe Islands
- India
- Israel
- Japan
- Morocco
- Monaco
- Panama
- Republic of Northern Macedonia
- United Kingdom
- San Marino
- Turkey
- Ukraine
- Vatican City

Anyone who holds a vaccination certificate from those countries can travel to Luxembourg regardless of nationality and place of residence.
