Phase 3 is triggered when there is a significant occupation of beds in intensive care by Covid patients, which means non-urgent surgical interventions can be affected.

The four national hospitals CHL, Chem, CHdN and HRS will do their best to optimise all non-urgent interventions, but cannot rule out that some may have to be rescheduled if there is no direct impact on the patient’s health. Urgent and important interventions will be maintained in any case.
