The ombudsman is therefore of the opinion that a compulsory vaccination for employees in the health sector and in the education sector should be considered.
After all, one needs to keep an eye on hospitalisations of children in case harsher measures need to be introduced.
The ombudsman also laments that sanitary measures aren’t legally binding in schools. It therefore proposes to include the current phase in the Covid law, which then can also be adapted.
