In a letter addressed to the Ministry of Education, parents demand that all children between 5 and 11 be allowed to be vaccinated and that the measures in schools be tightened. Moreover, they call on parents’ representatives from other municipalities to join in their demands and put pressure on the Minister of Education.

Specifically, they are requesting that mandatory rapid testing be reinstated in schools, that mandatory masks be used again inside classrooms, and that a 3G CovidCheck be introduced for teachers. Because of the increasing number of infections and the dangers of the Long Covid, the children should be better protected, according to parents.

On Friday, it was announced that children will be tested daily between 8 and 14 December, but parents think this does not go for enough.
