The Jean-Pierre Pescatore Foundation is currently experiencing a cluster of people infected with COVID-19 within a living unit.
7 residents are fully vaccinated (6 residents received 3 doses, 1 resident received 2 doses) the majority of them have minor symptoms or no symptoms.
3 residents with underlying conditions are currently in hospital.
The positive staff member was also fully vaccinated.
The Integrated Centre for the Elderly has implemented all the measures recommended by the Sanitary Inspectorate of the Department of Health, the ministry writes. Activities have been suspended and visits are still possible, albeit limited.
The main restaurant of CIPA will also remain closed.
Residents and staff will undergo testing again on Tuesday.
