6,078 tests were conducted over the last 72 hours, yielding a positive rate of 8.06% for the weekend as a whole. The positivity rate for Sunday was 7.66%.
Four new death from Covid-19 was reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 859.
There are 45 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up 18 from the last update, with 12 patients in intensive care, down 1 from Friday.
As of today’s update, there are 2,606 active infections in Luxembourg, while 81,273 people have recovered from the virus.
As of yesterday, the R rate is at 1.02 - down from 1.03.
440,833 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 859,096doses have been administered in total. 421,036 people are fully vaccinated.
