Monday’s update contains the data from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the government has stopped releasing coronavirus figures on the weekend.
Of the 262 new cases, 17 were recorded on Sunday.
No new deaths from Covid-19 was reported, meaning the total death toll in the Grand Duchy remains at 839.
2,552 tests were conducted in total over the last 72 hours. The positivity rate for yesterday was 6.11%, and 4.54% for the weekend as a whole.
There are 11 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down five from Friday’s update, with seven patients in intensive care (up by three).
As of today’s update, there are 1,397 active infections in Luxembourg, while 77,746 people have recovered from the virus.
424,692 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 798,373 doses have been administered in total. 412,411 people have been fully vaccinated as of the latest update.
As of yesterday, the R rate is at 1.12.
