Monday’s update contains the data from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the government has stopped releasing coronavirus figures on the weekend.
Of the 195 new cases, three were reported on Sunday.
No new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy at 835.
4,995 tests were conducted in total over the last 72 hours, with 284 in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for yesterday was 1.06%.
There are 17 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, unchanged from Friday’s update, with eight patients in intensive care (down one).
As of today’s update, there are 1,116 active infections in Luxembourg, while 76,570 people have recovered from the virus.
419,777 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 788,453 doses have been administered in total. 406,521 people have been fully vaccinated as of the latest update.
As of yesterday, the R rate is at 1.06.
