The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 151 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 72 hours.

Monday's update contains the data from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the government has stopped releasing coronavirus figures on the weekend.

Of the 151 new cases, 2 were reported on Sunday.

No new deaths from Covid-19 was reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 834.

3,335 tests were conducted in total over the last 72 hours, with 265 in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate for yesterday was 0.75.

There are 17 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up from 16 in Friday's update, with nine patients in intensive care (unchanged).

As of today's update, there are 1,039 active infections in Luxembourg, while 75,467 people have recovered from the virus.

414,553 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 777,221 doses have been administered in total. 399,589 people have been fully vaccinated as of the latest update.

As of yesterday, the R rate is at 0.98.
