On Thursday, Bionext’s director announced the intention to file a formal complaint against Luxembourg’s Ministry of Health at national and European level, citing an unfairly balanced competition.
He said the government had granted an unfair advantage to a different laboratory for performing analysis as part of the Large Scale Testing scheme, and went on to say that this did not represent a fair and transparent call for tenders.
As a result, Bionext Lab missed out on the chance to participate in the Large Scale Testing screening. In addition, the director claimed that this has changed the structure of the market and will have long-reaching consequences on the competitive situation in the Grand Duchy.
