The affected stores include ones in Mersch, Esch-sur-Alzette as well as the Arklet outlet in the Cloche d'Or shopping centre.
Swedish fashion giant H&M will close three of its 16 stores in Luxembourg, according to trade union sources speaking to Paperjam.
The store in Mersch's Topaze shopping centre already closed on 25 August. Arket at Cloche d'Or will close at the end of September, with the one in Esch-sur-Alzette planning to turn the lights off at the end of January 2022, the source said.
Four members of staff will be made redundant, mainly managers, said David Angel of the OGBL to the paper. Sales staff were reallocated to other stores.
H&M Group will have 13 shops in Luxembourg in February, divided between H&M (7), COS (2), Weekday (1), H&M Home (2) and &Other Stories (1).
