
The Delta variant is still dominant in Luxembourg, accounting for 81% of new cases. The gamma variant accounts for 18.1% and the alpha variant 0.9% of new infections. In general, cases are dropping, according to the LNS, including those caused by the Delta variant.
The sample analysis included 226 non-targeted samples (51.5%), which exceeded the minimum coverage (10%) but not the ECDC-recommended minimum sample size reached of 254.
