"Bärchen Wurst", a cooked sausage by the brand Reinert, has been recalled. The product is mainly sold in Lidl stores.
Luxembourg's Food Safety Authority has issued a recall of the sausage because of a potential contamination with metal particles. If ingested, they could lead to suffocation or internal injuries.
The product in question is thus a type of cooked sausage for children, called "Bärchen Wurst" and produced by the brand Reinert.
The potentially contaminated products have a best before date of 25 June 2021. In Luxembourg, the product is mainly sold in Lidl stores.
