Thus far, children had to visit one of the "Centres Médicaux-Sociaux" (CMS) in Luxembourg City, Ettelbruck, or Dudelange to get a Covid test.

The National Health Laboratory (LNS) and the Socio-Medical League both announced that the demand for children's Covid tests has gone up significantly.

The CMS in Wiltz will therefore start performing children's tests in the future. Visiting times are weekdays between 8.30 am and 12.00 pm. A doctor's note is necessary to be eligible for the test. If the child does not have a social security number, appointments have to be made via email (tracing@ligue.lu) or via telephone (22 00 99 66). Regular appointments can be made via the following link:

Trained nurses will conduct nasal swab tests, which will later be transported to Dudelange for analysis. Results will come back 48 hours later and will be communicated via text message. Only in cases of positive infections will an LNS official call the family personally.
