Rail operator CFL has announced that a technical fault near Berchem is currently affecting services on both the Luxembourg-Esch-Rodange and Luxembourg-Thionville-Metz railway lines.
As a result, all fast trains between Luxembourg City and Rodange have been cancelled in both directions.
However, regional trains on this route are still operating. Trains between Luxembourg City and Metz are also continuing to run, but with less regular frequency than usual.
CFL's technical teams are on site working to resolve the issue. Normal service is expected to resume by around 3pm on Wednesday.
The operator advises passengers to check CFL.lu for further details and updates.
