With the highest rate of employment in aviation in the EU, Luxembourg is vulnerable to the havoc caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a new report by Eurostat, around 1% of Luxembourg's workforce is employed in the aviation industry.

This is more than double the tally of the next-highest country, Malta, although it lags behind Iceland, which is not in the European Union.

After months of disruption due to coronavirus, Luxembourg's Findel airport is re-opening on 29 May.
