The Minister of Health Paulette Lenert has released the latest figures on the coronavirus pandemic in Luxembourg, showing that another 108 people have tested positive for the virus, while the number of dead has increased from 52 to 54.

Note: an earlier version of this article said 63 new cases today, rather than 108. This was the information given by the minister of health during a press conference. The new data reflects a further update to the government website.

This brings the total of confirmed cases in the Grand Duchy to 3,223. 412 coronavirus patients have now been discharged from hospital since the start of the outbreak, up from 374 yesterday.

Lenert is currently holding a press conference, and you can find our live ticker coverage here.

Today's figures follow Thursday's update of 81 new confirmed cases and 6 deaths, while Wednesday saw another 64 confirmed cases.

There were 127 additional confirmed cases and 3 deaths on Tuesday, and 39 confirmed cases reported on Monday, which also saw five deaths.

The below two graphs provide an overview of the development of new cases in Luxembourg since the start of the outbreak. However, earlier this week we have put together an article and some graphs that provide a more positive look at the latest developments.
