New data from Eurostat show that Luxembourg's house prices went up by 80.6% between 2007, and the first quarter of 2019. The EU average stood at 19%.
This figure places Luxembourg second behind only Austria, where house prices increased by 85.5% over the same period, and followed by Sweden at 80.3%. France saw an increase below 20%, Germany just under 60%, and Belgium shy of 40%.

Rental price increases in the Grand Duchy did not qualify for the top 3, which was topped by Lithuania at 101.1%, Czechia at 78.6%, and Hungary at 67.8%. Luxembourg meanwhile saw an increase of just over 50%. The EU average stood at 21%.
