Emile Lutgen, a know figure in the (charitable) associations' circle, takes over the charity's administration.
For 25 years, Emile Lutgen has been president of of the non-profit "Klenge Maarnicher Festival". He is a graduate solicitor and has so far in his career has worked in finance.
The position has been vacant for nearly a year, after Gilles Rod left the position because of unresolved differences with the administrative board.
The former councillor of déi Gréng (the Greens) had only been CEO for a year and works now for the Ministry of Family Affairs. Emile Lutgen has now taken over the administration of the Oeuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, which is partly financed by the proceeds of the national lottery.
For that matter the position of director of ''Fondation du Grand-Duc et de la Grande-Duchesse" remains vacant as well, as Mike van Kauvenbergh resigned after only a year.
