The US Senate on 7 October confirmed business executive Stacey Woolf Feinberg as the next American ambassador to Luxembourg in a 51–47 vote.

The US Senate has confirmed Stacey Woolf Feinberg to serve as the next American ambassador to Luxembourg. In a statement, the US Embassy in Luxembourg congratulated Feinberg on her confirmation and said the mission looks forward to her arrival, noting she will "represent President Donald Trump and the American people to the great country of Luxembourg", as the embassy seeks to deepen bilateral ties.

Feinberg, a graduate of Northwestern University, was confirmed on Tuesday, 7 October, by a 51–47 vote. Her nomination was formally received by the Senate on 24 March and advanced following a hearing on 12 June before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

A business executive and investor, Feinberg is the founder and managing director of 33 Capital LLC, where she has focused on funding women-led ventures. She began her career at Bob Woolf Associates, the sports and entertainment firm founded by her late father, working with high-profile clients before moving into producing and investing.

Feinberg already drew attention ahead of her appointment by making controversial comments during a Senate appearance in June 2025, accusing Luxembourg of being "naive" with regard to China.

Feinberg now succeeds interim chief Anthony Baird, who has been leading the mission pending the Senate confirmation. While the embassy did not announce a specific date for her arrival, Feinberg is expected to make her move before the end of the year.
