Meteolux have issued an orange alert spanning the entire country until 8pm today, Saturday, and again on Sunday.
The heat will once again be intense this Saturday, with the mercury rising as high as 35 °C with little wind and nary a cloud in the sky.
The alert runs from 12pm to 8pm today, and from 11am to 8pm tomorrow, Sunday, when we can expect a slightly higher 36 °C.
But things are set to cool off very soon indeed, with the heatwave expected to end on Monday with a drop in temperature down to around 25 °C.
Remember to drink plenty of water, don't spend too long in direct sunlight, and don't forget that it will be far too hot for our furry friends once the temperature starts ramping up. Early morning and late evening is ideal for walking four-legged fluffers.
