Wait times for ultrasounds have increased at the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch (CHEM), as patients must wait at least six weeks before their appointment. Minister of Health Martine Deprez confirmed the issue was ongoing in response to a parliamentary question submitted by the Pirate Party.

The reason behind the delays is said to be a recent reduction of the available supply due to organisational and structural changes at CHEM. But management is working on quickly rectifying the situation. Urgent ultrasounds are still taking place as normal.
