After ten years as the owner of two of Schouweiler's acclaimed restaurants, Katell Guillou will be closing the Michelin star-winning "Toit pour Toi".
Both "Toit pour Toi" and its sister restaurant "Guillou Campagne" are on the same road in Schouweiler, but the former will be closing its doors one last time on 23 December.
Restauranteur Katell Guillou wants to focus all her energy on "Guillou Campagne", which also has a Michelin star.
Guillou and her brother Erwan launched "Toit pour Toi" in 2000, although lately Guillou has been the sole owner of the restaurant. The restaurant gained its Michelin star in 2006 and has maintained it since.
It is yet to be seen what will happen to the premises of "Toit pour Toi", but as for the staff, some of them will continue working for Guillou, whilst others, especially two who have dreamed of working in Japan and Australia, will get Guillou's support in these projects.
Guillou is the daughter of Lysiane and Pierrick Guillou who were in charge of the Saint Michelin restaurant in Luxembourg between 1976 and 1993, then moving on to managing Schouweiler's "La Table des Guilloux" between 1993 and 2010.
