The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) organises up to 9 guided tours per day in several languages.

What is life like in a palace? How do the sovereigns of Luxembourg live? Where are the official receptions held? What does the palace actually look like from the inside, and what works of art can we admire?

You will be able to find the answers to those questions and much more from 14 July to 2 September, when the Grand Ducal Palace opens its doors to the great public.

The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) organises up to 9 guided tours per day in several languages.

How much?

  • Adults: 12 € 
  • Children from 4 to 12 years: 6 € 
  • Free admission for children under 4 years old.

A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the "Foundation of the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess", which benefits various humanitarian projects.

Where can I buy tickets?

  • New this year: Tickets can be purchased online at www.luxembourgcity.com
  • Online purchase confirmations will be sent via email to costumers. Those need to be exchanged at the reception desk of the LCTO, no later than half an hour before the visit takes place.

About the Tours

  • The departure of the guided tours takes place behind the Grand Ducal Palace, rue du Rost.
  • Tours last 50 minutes
  • For security reasons, visitors must be on time and no food or drinks are allowed inside. Bags must left at the entrance of the palace.

People with special needs

People with special needs should contact the LCTO on (+352) 22 28 09 before buying their tickets. For organisational reasons, the number of wheelchair users is limited to two per guided tour.
