A man was found dead Thursday morning on the road next to a bicycle on Rue Principale in Deiffelt after apparently being hit by a driver.

Deiffelt is in the north of Luxembourg, just south of Troisvierges.

An autopsy will now take place to determine the cause of the incident. The road was closed for a time on Thursday, but has since been reopened.
