The Luxembourgish army has acquired a new gadget to use in reconnaissance missions.
The Luxembourg army presented the new tech gadget it has acquired in January 2018 on social media today.
The drone, named "Raven", is able to fly ten kilometres and can be launched by hands and without any launching device.
The technology behind the drone allows its electric motor to take charge as soon as it is thrown in the air. The engine can fly at a speed ranging between from 32 to 81 km/hour, and has an autonomy of 90 minutes.
Weighing only 2.2 kilograms, "Raven" is a real powerhouse, but is not conceived as a weapon.
The drone is equipped with a camera and will be used in intelligence-gathering missions.
