Claude Magnin, owner of the traditional restaurant Postkutsch in Esch-sur-Alzette, has died at the age of 66.

The team at the restaurant, which is known for its French-inspired haute cuisine offerings, announced the tragic news on Facebook on Thursday.

Magnin managed the Esch restaurant for around four decades. The reason for his passing has not been made public.

The restaurant will continue to open as planned over the coming days.
