RTL Today becomes a new "sister" site to the Luxembourgish rtl.lu, which launched in 1996, and the French portal 5minutes.lu from 2011.
RTL Luxembourg is proud to now also cater for the needs of a growing international audience.

A hub for news, information and more
Over past decades, the number of English-speakers in Luxembourg has substantially increased.
In this multicultural society, especially in a business environment, most people tend to communicate in English. It is the language of business, finance and science. It is also increasingly popular with young people as they tend to watch films and listen to music in English.
According to the latest population census, which is actually from 2013 (Statec), 96,427 people spoke English at their workplace, at school and/or at home. This figure is constantly rising.
In a more recent Statec survey (2017), 7 out of 10 residents have a good grasp of the English language.

Dedicated to a native and non-native English-speaking audience, indeed to anyone who wants to absorb news and information in English, RTL Today will be a hub for local and international news, business topics, science, technology, environment, sport, culture and lifestyle!
