The fire began shortly after 7pm on rue du Château, emitting large amounts of smoke as 200 hay bales burned.
90 fire fighters were deployed from 8 different municipalities to tackle the blaze, working into the night to extinguish the flames.
Fire fighter Tom Barnig told RTL no animals had been put in danger by the fire, but one person had been taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

In Belval, a cyclist was knocked down by a car shortly after 11pm on Wednesday.
He was treated for minor injuries.
