The collision that took place in Remerschen on Friday afternoon resulted in the death of an 81-year-old man, while the driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital.
Police have since confirmed that the second driver's life is not in danger.
Following the accident, the public prosecutor’s office instructed the metrology and identification unit of the criminal investigations department to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
The N10 was closed to traffic while emergency services responded and investigators carried out their work.
