This duo setting allows listeners to really dive into the details of my songs and experience Rhani’s incredible artistry."

5. Watch The Librarians

What: Documentary
Where: Cinémathèque, 17 Pl. du Théâtre, 2613 Luxembourg
When: Thursday, 30 October at 7pm – info & tickets

As book bans sweep across Texas, Florida and beyond, The Librarians shine a light on a group of everyday heroes defending the freedom to read. Kim A. Snyder’s powerful new documentary follows librarians on the frontlines of America’s culture wars – educators, mostly women, standing up to censorship and political pressure in the name of democracy and intellectual freedom. A gripping and timely film that celebrates those who dare to keep the shelves – and minds – open.

6. Hear Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky

What: Classical legends
Where: Philharmonie, 1 Pl. de l'Europe, 1499 Luxembourg
When: Friday, 31 October – info & tickets

"Choice, not chance, determines your destiny", said Aristotle – a truth that resonates through this powerful concert. Dmitri Shostakovich chose caution, hiding away his Violin Concerto No. 1 from Soviet authorities, while a young Igor Stravinsky dedicated his Funeral Song to his mentor. And Tchaikovsky’s deeply emotional Pathétique Symphony, his final work, seemed to foretell his own fate. Join maestro Jukka-Pekka Saraste and the Luxembourg Philharmonic in the Grand Auditorium.
