Easter is just around the corner and what better way to kick-off the season than with a visit to the picturesque city in northern Luxembourg: Diekirch. They are organising a whole host of activities, including an easter egg hunt, a craft market, kids animation, and a visit from a certain Easter bunny. Drinks and food will also be provided.

So grab your baskets, bring your appetite, and hop on over to Diekirch for a day full of Easter fun, laughter, and just the right amount of chocolate!

2. EschTechWeek

What: AI tech focused week

For the second edition of EschTechWeek, the event places artificial intelligence (AI) at the heart of its programme, exploring its uses, challenges, limitations, and the opportunities it creates for citizens, businesses, and society.

For one week, Esch will transform into a tech hub filled with workshops, talks, demonstrations, and immersive experiences, all with the goal of making AI understandable and accessible to everyone while displaying Luxembourg’s growing tech ecosystem.

3. Live punk music

Dublin’s fiery punk quartet Sprints are back in Luxembourg, following quality performances at Rotondes and Siren’s Call.

Their latest album, All That Is Over, reinforces their reputation as a leading force in modern punk, mixing searing honesty with raw, electrifying sound. Live, fans can expect relentless energy, explosive performances, and the bold spirit that has defined their rise.

4. Médecins sans frontières, ‘The Great Exhibition’

What: A large expo about the work of Doctors Without Borders

For the first time in Luxembourg, this travelling exhibition lets you see how Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) provides medicine, cares for malnourished children, and tackles crises like migration and epidemics.

Life-sized displays invite visitors to experience the challenges of humanitarian work and consider vital questions, from finding clean water in disaster zones to fighting diseases like Ebola and cholera.

5. English open mic night

What: Enjoy a giggle at some improv comedy

Take the mic at Luxembourg’s Stand-Up Comedy Open Mic Night! New jokes are tried, bold ideas get a go, and laughs can come from anywhere. Whether you’re a seasoned comic or a first-timer, the stage is yours.

The vibe is relaxed, the crowd supportive, and the laughs guaranteed! Get out of your comfort zone and enjoy a night full of laughter.

6. UEFA Nations League playoff

What: Malta vs Luxembourg

A crucial two-legged fixture between Luxembourg and Malta, for the first time ever RTL Today will be bringing you coverage of both games with English commentary. At stake is a place in the Nations League group C, which Malta have never been in.

Jeff Strasser’s team lost all of their World Cup qualifiers but showed potential in each fixture. Could this be the game to kick-start a successful tenure for the Luxembourgish legend turned coach? The last time the two teams faced each other was in 2023 where the Red Lions lost 1-0 at home and will be looking for redemption. You can also win tickets to the home game.

7. Art meets music

TEXTUR>ES is an immersive experience where art and music meet, revealing the hidden beauty of metallic particles and flowing ferrofluid. Sacha Hanlet and Sergio Manique, with occasional collaborators, bring these materials to life through projection and video mapping, while THEM LIGHTS provides a rich, futuristic soundscape. The result is a striking visual and sonic journey you won’t forget.
