2. See The Black Keys

The Black Keys are a critically acclaimed American rock duo delivering a gritty blend of blues rock, garage rock, and soul. Known for their raw, minimalist sound featured on hits such as Tighten Up and Lonely Boy. See them at the Rockhal while there are still tickets.

3. Hear José Gonzalez in Wiltz

What: Intimate singer-songwriter

The Swedish-Argentinian singer-songwriter José González has managed to conquer the world's great stages with only three solo albums in 18 years, remaining true to his intimate and introspective style. This year, González returns to the Festival de Wiltz, where he last performed in 2017, captivating the audience once again with his enchanting sound.

4. Celebrate Afro-Caribbean culture

What: Promoting Afro-Caribbean cultures

After more than two years of absence, the Lux African Festival returns for a sixth edition. Expect exhibitors, delicious food from various regions and countries, traditional dance performances, a fashion show and other surprises. Lots to be discovered!

5. Watch 32 award-winning short films

Experience two days of exceptional cinema at the Cinémathèque as 32 award-winning short films from across the globe are screened, each honoured by its national film academy. Curated by the Académie des César in collaboration with D'Filmakademie, this unique event showcases the best short films of the year, including César, Oscar, and Goya winners. Entry is free, and all films come with English subtitles.

6. Chat to astronauts at Asteroid Day Festival

7. Show solidarity with national demonstration

What: Pensions, healthcare, and fair working conditions

Luxembourg's trade unions are hosting a national demonstration on Saturday, addressing a range of issues like Sunday working conditions and pension reforms to concerns in the healthcare sector. The demonstration is set to begin at 11am, just next to Luxembourg City's central train station. The turnout is expected to be high.
