2 October – Dianna Krall – MUSIC

Luxembourg College Night is a unique opportunity for secondary school students and their families in Luxembourg to find out more about higher education opportunities in the United States. 2 October – TramCrawl – PARTY

2-3 October – Symfonia – DANCE
Renowned French choreographer Kader Attou brings his signature fusion of hip-hop and contemporary dance to the stage in Symfonia. Set to the haunting beauty of Henryk Górecki’s Symphony No. 3, the performance blends breakdance acrobatics with the grace of classical ballet. Ten dancers create a sensuous, expansive, and fraternal world, exploring introspection, emotion, and tribute to women and mothers. Tickets.
3-4 October – Coronation festivities – TOUR/MUSIC
Luxembourg will witness a historic moment as Grand Duke Henri formally passes the crown to his eldest son, with the promise of a long weekend of celebrations. On Friday, the official ceremonies will begin at the Grand Ducal Palace. The inauguration “tour” on Saturday will take the new Grand Ducal couple through four lucky municipalities: Grevenmacher, Wiltz, Steinfort, and Dudelange, with performances everywhere. 8 October – African Glory – FILM
What if the first African to set foot in the Americas was an emperor? In the 13th century, West Africa thrived under the Manden Empire, and long before Columbus, Emperor Abu Bakr II set sail with 2,000 ships into the unknown – vanishing into the Atlantic. Blending legend and history, this film recounts his epic journey and restores the Manden civilization to its rightful place. The screening will be followed by a discussion panel with the director. 10 October – A Night of Swing & Broadway – MUSIC
CMCM teams up with AMAM for a charity concert featuring the Luxembourg Military Band at the Rockhal. Under the baton of Lieutenant Jean Thill, with vocals from Adjutant-Major Hon. Rol Girres and singer Marion Welter, the evening supports the Fondation Henri – Maria Teresa and its work in dyslexia projects. 10 October – Gilles Grethen Big Bang – MUSIC
The Gilles Grethen Big Band takes the stage for the release of their brand-new album. Launched in 2023 and mixed by renowned sound engineer Michael Perez Cisneros (Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ari Hoenig, Gilad Hekselman), the project features nearly an hour of original music written by Gilles Grethen, rich in references to Luxembourg and personal stories. 15 October – A Throw of Dice – MUSIC
Step into the world of the Mahābhārata with A Throw of Dice, a 1929 silent film that stands among cinema’s earliest grand epics. Filmed in Rajasthan with royal elephants and hundreds of extras, this Indo-German co-production blends sweeping romance with breathtaking spectacle. 17 October – Authentica – MUSIC
Folk songs and dances from Luxembourg come to life, with a vibrant fusion of Celtic, Latin, and Mediterranean influences. 17-19 October – Luxembourg Tattoo Convention – FAIR
The Luxembourg Tattoo Convention returns with over 350 international exhibitors. This year’s theme, “Architecture and its Foundations through Tattooing”, features monumental scenography and artwork by French artist Lahhel.
