1 June – Bike Days – SPORTS

Get ready for an exciting day of cycling fun on 1 June at the Schluechthaus! Experience obstacle courses, workshops, live demonstrations, and film screenings. Discover the versatility of cargo bikes too, introduced by ProVelo. More info.

1 June – Fun and games at Hesper park – KIDS

Bouncy castles and entertainment awaits children at Hesperange park this weekend. Plenty of refreshments are available to replenish the energy levels after a long day of jumping around the park. More info.

1–17 June – My Urban Piano – OTHER

As part of "My Urban Piano Luxembourg", public pianos are set up all over the city: anyone can sit down and play a tune. The pianos are beautifully decorated by youth centres, foyers scolaires, schools and clubs from Luxembourg City. Can you find and play on all 17 of them? More info.

1 June – LEGO exhibition – EXPO

Brixembourg 2025 is back in Junglinster for all LEGO enthousiasts. See impressive creations or take part in a building competition. There's also a giant raffle. More details.

2–3 June – Quiet Songs – THEATRE

Quiet Songs is a coming-of-age tale led by the Oscar-nominated actress Ruth Negga. Featuring a string quartet who use swords as musical instruments, it is the first production from Finn Beames & Company, the winner of the 2024 Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award, and was shortlisted for The Stage Awards 2025 in the Innovation category. After an acclaimed run at the Barbican, London, Finn returns to Luxembourg with a daring vision to revive the production in a creative residency with United Instruments of Lucilin and an engagement programme including workshops, open rehearsals and a post-show discussion. 3 June – World Bicycle Day – SPORTS

On 3 June the CFL and its partners organise various activities to celebrate World Bicycle Day. On the programme are cycling tours, informational and repair stalls, animations, and culinary specialties. An information stand and a guided bike tour will also be featured. Full programme.

6 June – Social lottery – OTHER

Join a big tombola for a good cause at De Gudde Wellen. All proceeds go to Méi Staark an d’Liewen. Prizes were donated by local artists and entrepreneurs. More info.

6 June – Carisa Dias – MUSIC

Carisa Dias, born in Lisbon to Cape Verdean parents and raised in Luxembourg, embodies the essence of being a global citizen, which is reflected in her music. Drawing from the richness of Cape Verdean morna, the captivating rhythms of Afro-beats, the gentleness of bossa nova, and the harmonies of pop and soul, the singer blends various sounds and cultures to create a unique repertoire. 6–19 June – UA Days – CULTURE

UA Days, organised by the LUkraine association, aims to showcase Ukrainian culture while fostering an exchange with Luxembourg. The programme includes musical performances by amongst others Alyona Alyona, as well as film screenings. More info here.

7 June – International Judo Tournament – SPORTS

Judo clubs from various European countries are competing in Differdange. Cheer on the athletes from the sidelines, or follow the competition via YouTube stream. More details.

10 June – Luxembourg–Ireland – SPORTS

See the Red Lions take on Ireland for a friendly game at the Stade de Luxembourg. Tickets.

13–21 June – Fetes de la Musique – MUSIC

Free concerts take place all around the country as part of Fetes de la Musique. Check out the full programme here for your commune.

13 June – Bernstein in Luxembourg – MUSIC

Experience the Symphony N° 2 by the great Leonard Bernstein, as well as two creations by American composer Judd Greenstein and Luxembourgish composer Marco Pütz for vibraphone and euphonium. Both were composed especially for Luxembourgish artists, namely percussionist Pascal Schumacher and euphonium player Philippe Schwartz. Accompanied by the Luxembourg Philharmonic, this will be a beautiful musical evening. More info.

13–15 June – Noises Off – THEATRE

Longterm collaborator of the Théâtres de la Ville Douglas Rintoul returns to Luxembourg with his production of Michael Frayn's perennially popular Noises Off. Often hailed as the most successful British comedy of the 20th century, this high-energy classic is structured as a play within a play, offering a hilarious behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a theatre production. The plot revolves around a troupe of actors on a disastrous provincial tour with a mediocre farce called ‘Nothing On.’ As the play progresses, we get to witness the chaos and mishaps that occur on stage and backstage during the rehearsals and performances, including flubbed lines, misplaced props, malfunctioning set pieces, romantic entanglements, and personal rivalries. 14 June – Voices International – MUSIC

Join Voices International as it weaves a vibrant tapestry of global sounds at the Philharmonie. Featuring choral classics, folk ballads, and stirring pieces from a variety of traditions, the group is accompanied by a world percussion ensemble and a string quintet. More info.

14–15 June – Japan Manga Wave – EXPO

The ultimate event for all fans of manga, anime, video games, cosplay, and Japanese culture is back in Luxembourg – and it’s bigger than ever. Loads of special guests are attending for concerts, signings, and panels, including Hiroki Takahashi (voice of Dragon Ball) and Debbie Davis (singer of The Lion King’s “Circle of Life”). 20 June – Stereolab – MUSIC

Stereolab are an Anglo-French avant-pop band formed in London in 1990. Led by the songwriting team of Tim Gane and Lætitia Sadier, the group's sound features influences from krautrock and 1960s French pop music, often incorporating a repetitive motorik beat with the use of vintage electronic keyboards and female vocals sung in English and French. Their lyrics have political and philosophical themes influenced by the Surrealist and Situationist art movements. Get your tickets.

22–23 June – City Sounds – MUSIC

Free concerts and DJ sets are being held at the Champ du Glacis on 22 and 23 June in celebration of the Grand Duke's birthday. See big names including Train, Oliver Heldens, B Jones, Dimitri Vegas and more. More info.

22–23 June – National Day – FESTIVITIES

Celebrating the reigning monarch's birthday is an annual highlight of course, starting with the torch procession and traditional fireworks, with parties taking place all over the city into the small hours. On the National Day itself, official events, such as the military parade and the Te Deum take place. Programme details.

23 June – Children's Play Day – KIDS

More than a hundred fun and educational workshops and games will be set up by various associations and performers on the Kinnekswiss on National Day. Come along and enjoy the fun, it's all free. More info.

27 June – Bad Taste Slam – POETRY

Who's the baddest of them all? After last year's moderate success, the Géisskan Kollektiv is back to annoy you for another year (their words, not ours...). Dad jokes, bad puns, or just plain "Dadaism", anything goes on this stage. The audience will boo the loser—or winner, depending on your point of view—of the evening. This should be fun...

28 June – We Ride – MARKET

Got a bike collecting dust in the basement? Looking for the perfect ride to zip around the city? Or maybe a two-wheeler for your kid? We Ride is here for you. For one day only, the second-hand bike market at Rotondes lets you sell your old bike or find the one that makes your heart race. Road bikes, mountain bikes, vintage rides, BMXs, or kids’ bikes — there’s something for every style and every pair of legs! There's also gear to shop. More info.

28 June – Fashion Swap – MARKET

Youngcaritas’s fashion swap bring all second-hand fashion lovers to Rotondes’ courtyard, in order to exchange their clothes. You must bring a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 10 items of clothing and receive tokens in exchange. You can then use these tokens to select the same number of clothes from the swap. The bar will be open, and DJs from Kollektiv Wohnung will be playing throughout the afternoon. 29 June – Chostakovitch at Philharmonie – MUSIC

The civic orchestras of the Philharmonie and the Konzerthaus Berlin join forces for a unique project between Luxembourg and Germany. First stop at the Philharmonie, where the two ensembles will take turns on the stage of the Grand Auditorium, before coming together to tackle Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony N° 5. More info.

29 June – The Black Keys – MUSIC

The Black Keys are a critically acclaimed American rock duo delivering a gritty blend of blues rock, garage rock, and soul. Known for their raw, minimalist sound featured on hits such as "Tighten Up" and "Lonely Boy." See them at the Rockhal while there are still tickets!

30 June – Green Day – MUSIC

Green Day is one of the most iconic punk rock bands of all time, known for their high-energy performances and timeless hits like "American Idiot", "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", and "Wake Me Up When September Ends". See the rebels take over the LuxExpo parking lot! Last tickets.
